CommunityFIT is a NO COST community based fitness program that offers FREE live fitness classes virtually, in person, and on demand on our YouTube channel.

Classes are FREE.

Western Health Advantage understands that a healthy community is happy and productive. Our mission includes affecting positive change through outreach and giving back to our community.

CommunityFIT classes are for all fitness levels and abilities.

Yes, for in-person classes only, your wristband tells the instructor and CommunityFIT facilitator that you have either signed a paper liability waiver, or submitted an electronic waiver upon registration.

Bring your wristband, an exercise/yoga mat, water, a small towel, and sunscreen if needed.

All the parks hosting the CommunityFIT program have street parking or parking garages close by. Participants are responsible for any parking fees.

Yes. Any items left behind will be returned to Western Health Advantage. Please email CommunityFIT@westernhealth.com to inquire about lost items. WHA is not responsible for any lost items.

Western Health Advantage will analyze participation rates in each activity along with pre- and post-surveys to determine future class schedules.

Follow these steps:

  1. Fill out the online registration form.

  2. You will receive an email with a link(s) to register for classes on Zoom. Register on Zoom to receive the joining link(s) for the classes you are interested in.

  3. Save all classes to your calendar.

  4. If you have registered for CommunityFIT in the past, you do not need to do so again. You will automatically receive emails/links for any new class offerings as long as we have your email on file. Email CommunityFIT@westernhealth.com to update your email address if needed.

  1. Fill out the online registration form.

  2. You will receive an email with a link(s) to register for classes on Zoom. Register on Zoom to receive the joining link(s) for the classes you are interested in.

  3. Save all classes to your calendar.

  4. Once you have registered on Zoom, you should receive an email with the link(s). You can then click on the link at the time of the class you wish to join and enter the virtual class.

You only need to register for CommunityFIT once, but will need to register on Zoom for any new classes that are offered. You will receive information on upcoming sessions automatically as long as we have a valid email on file.

Registration is always open for new registrants. Zoom links for new classes will be sent automatically at the start of a new block. Sometimes there is a short delay to receive the Zoom email after registering for CommunityFIT for the first time. Be sure to register in advance of a new block to receive the joining info in time.

If you are pregnant you will need to provide a note from your doctor to participate.

To ensure the safety of all participants, in person classes will be limited to 25 students. For virtual classes, there is a limit of 1000 participants including host and instructor. Virtual participants will be muted, and your video will not be enabled.

For in person classes, let the instructor or CommunityFIT facilitator know you need a new wristband. Wristbands are not needed for online classes.

Please wear comfortable, breathable clothing that allows for unrestircted movement. For outdoor, in person classes, dress in layers on colder days.

Classes may be cancelled due to heavy rain/wind or extreme cold/heat.

All instructors are certified in group fitness and have many years of teaching experience.
