The number children who died in the U.S. during the 2017-2018 flu season hit an all-time high with 186 deaths. About three-quarters of these deaths occurred in children who were not vaccinated.

Assist America’s phone line is answered 24/7 by 911-certified EMTs, nurses and doctors. All decisions are made on the basis of what’s medically necessary. When calling Assist America at 800.872.1414 or using the app, you’ll need to know your WHA ID number.
