Assistance in Your Language
Western Health Advantage understands how important it is to be able to effectively communicate with your health plan or health care provider. We provide free, timely and qualified language services to our members who need assistance in their language. To better serve our members, WHA:
- Employs representatives who speak English and Spanish who can help you understand your coverage or answer a question you may have. We also have access to interpreters who can help you talk to your doctor in over 150 other languages.
- Provides translated written materials in Spanish upon request that explain your rights, your eligibility for benefits and services and treatment information.
To help us serve you better in your language and to help assess our members' language needs, please call Member Services to tell us your preferred spoken and written language. This information will be kept private and will not used to determine eligibility or insurability.
