To obtain behavioral and mental health services through your Western Health Advantage membership, see below: WHA has contracted with Human Affairs International of California (HAI-CA), an affiliate of Magellan Behavioral Health, to administer all mental health and alcohol and drug abuse benefits under the plan. UC Active
Behavioral health services, including chemical dependency services, are not covered by WHA. Mental health and substance abuse services are covered through Optum Health, the supplemental coverage provided by your employer. You may reach Optum Health at (888)440-8225.
