Access to Medical Records
WHA directs members to the provider's office when copies of records containing clinical information are requested, and they are informed of the provider's procedures for obtaining such information that need to be followed.
Adult members have the right to inspect their medical records and submit a written addendum to their health care provider with respect to any item or statement in the record that they believe to be incomplete or incorrect. Providers must attach the addendum to the member's record and must include it whenever a disclosure of the allegedly incomplete/incorrect portion
