List of Covered Medications
Medications covered by WHA's prescription benefit are listed in the Preferred Drug List (PDL). The PDL, also known as a formulary, offers a wide selection of generic and brand-name medications. Pharmacy Options
Retail Pharmacies
You can obtain most of your prescription medications at any participating retail pharmacy. Find a participating retail pharmacy by visiting www.medcohealth.com/westernhealth or by calling Medco directly at 800.903.8664. If you use a nonparticipating pharmacy in an emergency, you will be reimbursed for the amount the medication would have cost under your benefit plan at a participating pharmacy, minus any applicable deductible or copayment.
Mail Order
You may save time and money on medications you take regularly by ordering a 90-day supply through "The Medco Pharmacy," Medco's mail-order pharmacy program. Your prescription can be refilled by phone or online and will be delivered straight to your home or office - whichever is more convenient!
