Immunization Schedules
Communicable diseases rank second as the cause of death before age 35 with the highest percentage among
children between the ages of three and five. By keeping your children's immunizations (vaccinations) up-to-date,
you are taking an active role in helping them fight against communicable diseases. Your health care provider can
determine which vaccinations your child needs and whether or not to set up a "catch-up" schedule.
Below are the immunization schedules for children, adolescents and adults from the Center for Disease Control
and Prevention (CDC). The schedules and immunizations are based on the Advisory Committee Immunization
Practices (ACIP) recommendations.
