WHA Care+
Service Area
Introducing a new way to get complete health care coverage from one easy-to-use plan.
WHA Care+ is not a health plan that merely pays Medicare deductibles and coinsurance
charges. It's much more than that. Western Health Advantage has entered into a
contract with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) - the federal
government agency that administers Medicare. This contract authorizes WHA to arrange
for comprehensive health services for persons who are entitled to Medicare benefits.
With WHA Care+, all your Medicare benefits are administered through WHA, a
not-for-profit HMO that's run by doctors. The result? A comprehensive plan that
truly works to your advantage, offering you the comfort, reliability and quality
of care you deserve.

Anyone with Medicare Part A and B may apply, including those under 65 entitled
on the basis on social Security disability. You must live in the WHA Care+
service area to enroll. Members must use WHA Care+ providers for routine care
and continue to pay Medicare premiums. If you do not have Medicare Part A, you
must purchase it from Social Security. WHA is a federally qualified HMO with
a Medicare Advantage contract called Care+.
